Senka Loosemore is a UK-based photographic artist whose work examines identity, mental health, and emotional exposure in contemporary culture. Her practice combines visual precision with autobiographical and conceptual enquiry, drawing on the structural language of graphic design alongside contemporary fine art photography.

Senka’s work is informed by earlier experience in design and collaboration, including projects with Royal Mail and David Hockney. This foundation continues to shape her approach to image-making, where composition, surface, and visual language remain central, while the focus has shifted toward psychological and emotional states.

Alongside her visual practice, Senka spent many years working in holistic body therapy, an experience that deepened her interest in the relationship between the body, emotion, and inner psychological states.

Positioned between fine art and documentary, her practice uses constructed imagery, still life, and conceptual portraiture to explore hyper-visibility, self-performance, and psychological endurance. Through metaphor, fragmentation, and repetition, the work challenges dominant narratives of productivity, authenticity, and resilience.

Her ongoing photographic project Exposure Syndrome investigates the psychological consequences of living in a culture shaped by visibility, performance, and emotional exposure.
